Summary:
Indelco Plastics is seeking an experienced and dedicated Inside Sales Representative with a proven track record in the industrial pump and/or industrial pipe plastics sectors to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service, managing orders, bids, and providing technical support to clients within these specialized industries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Initiate proactive communication with clients via phone and email. Leverage your in-depth understanding of industrial pumps and pipe plastics to offer expert advice on product applications, technical specifications, and tailored solutions.
- Order Processing: Manage the complete order processing cycle, from accurate order entry to validating pricing and discounts. Collaborate closely with warehouse personnel to ensure timely order fulfillment and exceptional customer experience.
- Bid Management: Skillfully handling bid entries, ensuring precision in bid information, validating pricing, and promptly communicating bid prices to customers. Follow up on bids to maximize success rates.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as a knowledgeable resource for customers, addressing inquiries, providing comprehensive product information, and effectively resolving technical concerns related to industrial pumps and pipe plastics.
- Return Order Management: Process return orders for assigned customers, including issuing RGA numbers, entering return order details, and managing restocking charges. Facilitate seamless returns and uphold customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team to align on customer needs, contribute technical insights, and enhance overall account management strategies.
- Data Accuracy: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information, pricing details, and order records in the system.
- Sales Support: Assist outside salespersons by providing relevant information garnered from customer interactions. Contribute to the refinement of sales strategies and strengthened customer relationships.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adeptly managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing inside sales operations, suggesting process improvements to increase efficiency and elevate customer satisfaction.
