Summary
The position will support the Outside Sales team as well as directly engaging existing and
potential customers. The individual should have a strong background in selling technical
products and solutions. They will need to communicate effectively and work in conjunction with
other CB Pacific staff to address customer requirements. We will provide technical support and
training, but we are looking for an individual who can grow into a position of increased
responsibility.
Responsibilities
• Handling incoming inquiries from both end-user customers and the Outside Sales team
• Qualifying inbound sales inquiries
• Providing information about a product or solution
• Determining which components are most suitable in collaboration with senior sales
personnel
• Working with vendors to coordinate technical or sales related tasks
• Generating quotations for products, solutions, and services
• Coordinating with procurement/shipping to determine product availability and shipping
information
• Checking in with customers periodically
• Following up with customer inquiries and quotations
• Managing email and phone outreach campaigns
• Setup customers in CRM
• Receive leads from vendors and enter into CRM as needed. Distribute leads to
salespersons
• Quotes within 24 hours of request
• Orders entered when received
• Acknowledgements to customers as soon as possible
Sales Logic
• Terms and Conditions negotiation as part of the sales process
• Providing Certificate of Insurance to customers as required
• Quotations for customers
• Close Sales orders
• Resale certificates
• Applications for accounts
• Reconcile Commissions
Purchasing
• Prepare and place Purchase Orders for products for customers as required
• Analyze inventory for Economic order quantity
• Manage semi-annual returns for stock rotation requirements
Demo Equipment
• Order demo equipment
• Manage demo equipment
Internal Training Management
• Manage training requirements for on boarding new technical or commercial sales
resources
• Report progress against sales training plans
• Organize Vendor training events for sales and technical teams
• Manage the lists of persons that are to receive training and webinar announcements
from the various vendors
Other
• This position is conducive to remote work; most of the time is spent at the
computer.
• This position's hours are typically Monday through Friday, with some flexibility
based on business and personal needs.
