Job Summary:
We are looking for Linux Design and implementation Engineers for our environments; a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, for a large project producing a critical, strategic national asset. The skills for this need will include someone who is very familiar with the Linux Operating systems – Preferably versions of OEL 7/9 and can work through the OS configuration and optimization for these environments which would involve a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and 5+ years of related work experience
- U.S. citizenship and current Top Secret / SCI security clearance is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Thorough background in on premise infrastructure design data center systems
- Experience troubleshooting complex systems involving multiple servers, COTS products, VMs, VDIs, and/or network issues.
- Experience with RHEL 6.0+ infrastructure development, implementation, and optimization for an enterprise Design.

- You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with design, development, implementation, and support of Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) Operating System for the project.
- You will support software deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program need for the effort.
- You will Design, implement, generate code through scripting tools, test, document, and maintain the system.
- You will assist with development of build/test and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premise computing environments.
- You will assist engineers with OEL based tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in Interfacing with customers and users at a customer's site
- Experience in Network designs and implementation
- Experience in SAN/NAS designs and implementation
- Experience in Windows Platforms and implementation • Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps developments
- Extensive Windows OS development and deployment experience
- Hands on experience scripting skills (i.e. PowerShell, Python, Ruby, bash, etc.)
- Experience with the Agile development lifecycle
- Experience with the Atlassian tool suite
- Experience with SAFe agile processes
- Knowledge of Enterprise Application development and deployment processes
- Security+ certification
