Overview:
As the Information Technology and Digital Manager, your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of the company’s IT systems and infrastructure. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the marketing team to drive all digital initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in integrating technology strategies with broader business objectives, ensuring IT and digital solutions optimize operations, improving customer engagement, and foster organizational growth. Title of Position: Information Technology (IT) & Digital Manager
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the IT & Digital strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives. Identify technology trends and innovations that can be leveraged to maintain a competitive edge.
- Infrastructure Management: work cross-functionally relating to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and cloud services. Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of IT systems.
- Application Development and Integration: Lead the development and integration of software applications tailored to the needs of various business functions, such as point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management, labor management, customer relationship management (CRM), online ordering platforms, and accounting.
- Data Management and Analytics: Establish data management systems and protocols to deliver usable and actionable data to the organization. Structure collection of data and retrieval tools in a manner that empowers users across the organization to efficiently access relevant information.
- Cybersecurity and Compliance: Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures to safeguard the company's digital assets and customer information. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with IT & Digital vendors, service providers, and consultants. Negotiate contracts, oversee service level agreements (SLAs), and monitor vendor performance.
- Cross-Functional Teams and Development: Build relationships and mentor the field relating to IT, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Budgeting and Cost Management: assist to develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support business priorities while controlling costs and maximizing ROI.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide strategic oversight of IT support services, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and effective communication with end-users.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, finance, and human resources, to understand their technology needs and deliver solutions that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with camera systems and loss prevention a plus.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience (4+ years) in an IT role, within the restaurant or hospitality industry is a must!
- Strong technical expertise in infrastructure management, application and website oversight, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
- Demonstrated track record of successful IT & Digital strategy development and execution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL).
- Experience with the Toast POS system- is a must!
