About the Job
Introduction:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Infant /Toddler Teacher to join our team and provide quality primary care giving for infants and toddlers in a safe and supervised early care and educational setting. Under the guidance of the Site Supervisor, the Infant/Toddler Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and communicating with parents about their child's development and progress. They are responsible for promoting the social,emotional,physical, and cognitive development of the children enrolled in the program, by developing individual goals for children,providing screenings and on-going assessments.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff. A teaching permit and infant/toddler units are a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities:

Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants, including providing emotional and physical support

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants

Communicate with parents about their child's development and progress, including providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or questions

Follow all policies and procedures related to the care and education of infants, including adhering to safety protocols and maintaining accurate records

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Infant Teacher or in a similar role

Early Childhood Education (ECE) degree and Permit
-
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff

Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities for infants
