Industrial Maintenance Planner - FULL TIME - C&B Piping

C&B Piping, Inc., founded in Adamsville, AL in 1986, is a full-service manufacturing supplier of ductile iron piping systems with a primary focus on the water & wastewater treatment plant construction industry. Our headquarters and primary manufacturing facility is in Leeds, Alabama while our Gilbert, Arizona fabrication and linings/coatings facility proudly serves our western United States customers.

We are proud to be the nation's largest supplier of porcelain glass linings for ductile iron pipe systems. We have more manufacturing machines for ductile iron pipe under one roof than any other ductile iron fabricator in the USA. We fabricate the full-size range (3"-64") of ductile iron pipe available. We are a licensed applicator of Protecto 401 Ceramic Epoxy and Ceramapure PL90 linings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for ordering all parts for maintenance purposes for a 10-person Maintenance department.

· Must be able to identify and prioritize multiple projects and perform work with a constant awareness of improving processes.

· Schedules maintenance that minimizes equipment downtime and impact on production.

· Must be well versed in record keeping for Mobile equipment maintenance records.

· Record keeping on all maintenance on Overhead cranes.

· Manage spare parts and alignment between the maintenance team and inventory management and all levels of the organization.

· Source parts from outside vendors as needed.

· Reports directly to Maintenance Manager.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will be one who is organized, friendly, punctual, flexible, and thoroughly professional and have:

Experience:

· 5 Years of experience in Maintenance Planning and Purchasing.

· Background in an industrial maintenance and repair or equipment to effectively plan daily maintenance departmental activities.

· Demonstrated capability to analyze and troubleshoot operational and equipment issues and provide reasonable and accurate recommendations and solutions.

· Inventory Management a strong plus.

· Must understand Parts manuals, mechanical drawings, bills of materials, inventory management, etc.....

· Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

· Ability to work in a self-directed manner and provide direction to others.

· Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementation of improvements.

· Strong working knowledge in computer and various maintenance software systems.

· Must have excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal relationship skills.

· This opportunity is onsite only and remote work will not be considered.
