Responsibilities
- Generate Leads: Identify and cultivate potential clients through various channels such as referrals, networking events, cold calling, and digital marketing efforts.
- Assess Client Needs: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs and financial situations to recommend appropriate policies and coverage levels.
- Provide Expert Advice: Offer expert guidance and advice to clients regarding insurance options, coverage limits, policy terms, and premium costs.
- Customize Insurance Solutions: Tailor insurance solutions to meet the unique needs and preferences of individual clients, ensuring adequate coverage and protection.
- Quote and Generate Proposals: Prepare accurate insurance quotes and proposals for clients, clearly outlining coverage details, terms, conditions, and premiums.
- Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance contracts with insurance carriers on behalf of clients to secure the best possible coverage and rates.
- Close Sales: Effectively close sales by addressing client concerns, overcoming objections, and persuasively presenting the value proposition of recommended insurance products.
- Manage Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns, and conducting regular policy reviews.
- Stay Informed: Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in insurance products and services to better serve clients and maintain a competitive edge.
- Focus on Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing insurance sales and transactions.
- Meet Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and performance metrics set by the organization through effective sales strategies and proactive prospecting efforts.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, insurance policies, sales activities, and other relevant information using CRM software or other systems.
Requirements
- Property and Casualty Insurance license required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of insurance products, terminology, and industry trends.
- Prior experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
