Overview:We are seeking an In Room Dining Server at Hotel Bardo Savannah, our recently opened luxury urban resort at the heat of Forsyth Park. This individual will be an essential part of our guests' dining experience, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring their satisfaction with every meal served in the comfort of their room
Responsibilities:- Take and process guest orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to menu offerings and special requests.
- Deliver orders promptly and courteously, maintaining proper presentation and temperature of food and beverages.
- Set up and arrange in-room dining trays and tables with attention to detail and aesthetic appeal.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, including specials, wine pairings, and dietary accommodations.
- Anticipate guests' needs and proactively address any concerns or preferences to enhance their dining experience.
- Coordinate with culinary team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Handle payment transactions accurately, including processing room charges and collecting cash or credit card payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the in-room dining and guest areas, including tray retrieval and setup of condiments and utensils.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with other resort departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to coordinate guest requests and preferences seamlessly.
- Hard-working team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Passionate about hospitality, food & beverage and possess a desire to learn
- ability to multitask, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent presentation and grooming standards
- Wine and ServSafe certifications are a plus
- Ability to endure abundant physical movement in various work areas
