What you will be doing: 

As an Implementation Project Engineer, you would be responsible for traveling nationwide and assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of cutting-edge surveillance systems that align with customer needs. You will be working exclusively with a dedicated client to ensure seamless systems implementation and integration. 

Territory:

North America 

What your primary responsibilities will be: 

• Install, configure, and test surveillance systems (IP cameras, NVRs, access control, and video analytics software) at client sites nationwide 

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, while providing hands-on customer training and support 

• Integrate surveillance systems with clients’ existing networks for optimal performance 

• Maintain accurate logs of installations and configurations for efficient future support 

• Work closely with project managers, sales teams, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction 

• Travel extensively (up to 75% of the time, often 3 weeks per month during peak season) to ensure on-time, successful system setups across the US 

• Other projects as assigned  

What you will need:  

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training or an associate’s degree in information technology, Electrical Engineering, or related fields is a plus  

• 3+ years of hands-on experience installing and configuring video surveillance systems or similar technologies 

• Strong understanding of IP cameras, NVR systems, networking (PoE, IP addressing), and access control systems 

• Network+ or Security+ certifications, along with manufacturer-specific credentials (e.g. Pelco, Dahua), are highly desirable 

• Expert troubleshooting abilities to resolve hardware, software, and networking challenges on the go 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills (ability to present information to both technical and non-technical people) 

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, managing time efficiently 

• Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail  

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment  

• Excellent organizational and computer skills including computer fluency in MS Office  

Physical Demands:  

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time if needed  

• May be required to stand for long periods of time 

• Constantly operates a computer and possibly other work-related machinery  

• Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine including repetitive motions 

• Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication  

• Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of verbal communication  

• Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances  

• May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and noise levels  

• Willing to travel up to 75% of the time, often for extended periods during peak seasons
