What you will be doing:
As an Implementation Project Engineer, you would be responsible for traveling nationwide and assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of cutting-edge surveillance systems that align with customer needs. You will be working exclusively with a dedicated client to ensure seamless systems implementation and integration.

What your primary responsibilities will be:
Install, configure, and test surveillance systems (IP cameras, NVRs, access control, and video analytics software) at client sites nationwide
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, while providing hands-on customer training and support
Integrate surveillance systems with clients’ existing networks for optimal performance
Maintain accurate logs of installations and configurations for efficient future support
Work closely with project managers, sales teams, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction
Travel extensively (up to 75% of the time, often 3 weeks per month during peak season) to ensure on-time, successful system setups across the US
Other projects as assigned
What you will need:
High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training or an associate’s degree in information technology, Electrical Engineering, or related fields is a plus
3+ years of hands-on experience installing and configuring video surveillance systems or similar technologies
Strong understanding of IP cameras, NVR systems, networking (PoE, IP addressing), and access control systems
Network+ or Security+ certifications, along with manufacturer-specific credentials (e.g. Pelco, Dahua), are highly desirable
Expert troubleshooting abilities to resolve hardware, software, and networking challenges on the go
Excellent oral and written communication skills (ability to present information to both technical and non-technical people)
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, managing time efficiently
Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and computer skills including computer fluency in MS Office
Physical Demands:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time if needed
May be required to stand for long periods of time
Constantly operates a computer and possibly other work-related machinery
Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine including repetitive motions
Constantly receiving detailed information through oral communication
Constant talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of verbal communication
Constant clarity of vision at near and/or far distances
May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and noise levels
Willing to travel up to 75% of the time, often for extended periods during peak seasons
