Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an active Secret Cleared Implementation Network Engineer to join a large government program located in Pearl Harbor, HI through 100% on-site work. The Implementation Network Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and monitoring secure equipment for DOD networks.
Responsibilities of the Implementation Network Engineer include:
- Configure Cisco and Juniper routers and switches
- Work with data and VOIP to implement transmission systems
- Coordinate with user on system, hardware, software, and network needs
- Communicate with management on network issues and resolve them
- Document all network implementation methods and specifications
- Conduct network monitoring and configurations
Qualifications for the Implementation Network Engineer include:
- 4 to 8 years of experience configuring and implementing network devices
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (Can substitute for additional years of experience)
- Strong knowledge of a variety of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, WAN, VPN, VLAN, VRF, etc.)
- Extensive experience with installing and troubleshooting Cisco and Juniper routers and switches
- Must possess the required DoD Directive 8570.1 IAT Level II or higher certification
- Must have an Active Secret clearance
Compensation for the Implementation Network Engineer include:
Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 **depending on experience**
