Kenworth Sales Company is seeking an experienced technician with advanced general networking, desktop, telephony, and systems administration skills. This position requires some travel to configure and install new systems and appliances, perform on-site troubleshooting and repair. The individual must be available to respond on-call as assigned, including evenings and weekends. Work hours will vary due to scheduled maintenance windows and response to service outages.
**Earn $65k - $80k per year (Depending on experience and certifications)!

IT Technician Job Responsibilities/Duties:
1. Resolve 2nd Level computer issues remotely for the corporate office and remote branches.
2. Provide 2nd Level support to the Help Desk Tier 1 staff and support Information System management with technical requests.
3. Monitor, troubleshoot, and support Windows Servers, desktop/laptop/tablet/thin-client PCs, local and wide area networks, data storage systems, Active Directory, and .NET business applications.
4. Configure new systems for locations within the district.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve printing issues (HP, Ricoh, Sharp, Konica Minolta).
6. Repair laptops, desktops, tablets, and phones.
7. Answer phones and log tickets while help desk staff is out of the office.
8. Experience with a ticket management process.
9. Understanding of network and application protocols (IPv4, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, NAT, IPsec VPN, OpenVPN).
10. Experience with troubleshooting network and voice issues.
11. Communicate effectively in tickets, emails, to customers, management, and peers.
12. Multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities.
13. Be punctual and reliable.
14. Have good interpersonal skills for working in a team environment.
15. Have good time management skills. Deliver a good quantity/quality of work.
16. Able to safely lift and move a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
17. Other duties as assigned.
IT Technician Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Technical Support Technician role.
• Associate’s degree in a Computer Related Field is preferred; Technology certifications are a plus.
• Excellent Hardware and Software troubleshooting skills.
• Experience installing and supporting Microsoft and Linux server and desktop technologies.
• Windows Client and Server operating systems (11, 2019+).
• Network LAN switching and WAN routing devices (HP, Cisco, Peplink, Meraki).
• RingCentral, Mitel, or other VOIP administration and support.
• Meraki, Ubiquiti, or other wireless networking administration and support.
• Experience with VMware ESX or ESXi.
• Experience with Fujitsu Scanners is a plus.
• Customer service oriented.
• Must work well in a team and independently.
• Must be a self-starter.
