Requirements:- Minimum of a Bachelor-s degree in an Engineering field and five years work related experience or a Master-s degree and three years work related experience in a relevant technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Application of complex, technical and professional disciplines requiring a four-year degree or equivalent and the extensive, applied use of related concepts, practices, and methods
- An advanced level of proficiency to apply broad knowledge and experience; may provide direction/leadership to others as a lead or technical specialist
- Leadership skills, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and short-term and long-term planning skills
- Experience with F-35 ground support equipment Information Systems (IS), including:
- Technical specifications of the current PMA laptops, PMD Readers, SOUv2, MPE, etc.
- The ALIS-to-ODIN hardware transition
- Current ALIS administration and sustainment
- Knowledge of establishing and fielding IT equipment in a variety of DoD environments
- Understanding of the cost, schedule, and contracting constraints to procure and install IT equipment in the DoD
- Directly supports the Hardware Team within the Joint Program Office (JPO) Maintenance Systems Program Management Office (MxS PMO)
- Provides recommendations to the PMO regarding the hardware upgrades and the feasibility of installing hardware in both new sites and upgrading existing sites
- Assists in the management and tracking of hardware procurements and deliveries
- Participates regularly in strike teams and working groups to provide input on the best course of action.
- Analyzes and evaluates user requirements with the user to define the problem, data availability, report requirements, and system design problems
- Defines system objectives and prepares system design specifications to meet user requirements and satisfy interface problems
- Analyzes alternate means of deriving input data to select the most accurate, feasible, and economical methods
- Defines input and output file specifications including file organization
- Defines controls, conversion procedures, and system implementation plans including user training and orientation
