QUALIFICATIONS
AS (Computer Science) degree required with a minimum of 4 years experience or high school diploma required with a minimum of 7 years experience working with electronic technologies. Requirements essential to position include ability to manage complex computer systems throughout multiple locations/counties, manage IT related functions of the organization; organize and analyze data; compile reports; time management; the ability to change priorities/shift quickly from one task to another with exceptional organizational skills, with ability to prioritize work; and exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills to negotiate complex job demands; ability to work well and in cooperation with all employees and at a variety of work sites with ability to explain technical problems and offer solutions to those without technological training. Must maintain strict confidentiality regarding staff/service recipient issues and demonstrate the ability to relate to and accept individuals with disabilities. Valid NYS driver's license and travel required.
Physical requirements: Prolonged periods sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer, must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at a time, and may be required to work unpredictable hours in emergencies.
