IT Security Specialist- Nutanix Engineering and Integration Specialist - Aloden LLC

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Candidate Preference: Local candidates or those willing to relocate to Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Nutanix solutions, showcasing their capabilities to stakeholders.
• Collaborate across teams to gather requirements and define production Nutanix environments.
• Set up, configure, test, and document Nutanix suite evaluations.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the Nutanix lifecycle.
• Analyze and present technical documentation to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay abreast of the latest Nutanix technologies and industry trends.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks during Nutanix evaluations.
• Align Nutanix efforts with business goals by collaborating with sales, product management, and engineering teams.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of Nutanix deployment processes, configurations, and lifecycle management.

Required Skills:

• Nutanix Expertise: Extensive experience with Nutanix technologies, including design, automation, and deployment of AHV, Prism Central, and Foundation.
• Workload Management: Knowledge of software workload management and orchestration tools like Calm and vRA.
• Enterprise IT: Solid understanding of enterprise IT environments and infrastructure.
• VMware: Experience with VMware virtualization technology.
• Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Networking: Solid grasp of networking concepts and protocols, including DMZ, firewalls, ports, and protocols.
• Security Hardening: Strong understanding of security hardening procedures and best practices.
• HVD: Experience with Nutanix HVD (virtual desktops running on Nutanix).
