Duties
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation and funding documentation to include IVBs, and Legislative documentation. Oversee all aspects of project execution to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop ITN's and Solicitation Documents: Draft invitation to negotiate (ITN) and other solicitation documents as required to support IT procurement needs. Ensure alignment with applicable state procurement laws and regulations.
- Validate Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, validate, and document business and technical requirements. Develops traceability matrices and other tools to track requirement fulfillment.
- Template Creation: Design and maintain project templates for consistent documentation and reporting, including progress reports, risk assessments, and change management logs.
- Project management Responsibilities: Implement project management methodologies in compliance with 60GG-1, Florida Administrative Code. Monitor and manage project timelines, risks, budgets, and scope, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Conduct stakeholder communications to provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and potential issues.
- IT Specific Responsibilities: Oversee IT infrastructure and applications projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Coordinate with technical teams to manage system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within project management practices. Apply lessons learned from previous projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, project plans, and final reports. Prepare regular updates and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- General Responsibilities: Provide strong leadership and guidance to project teams. Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, including security and confidentiality requirements. The Project Manager will support various IT projects, including but not limited to system implementations, application upgrades, infrastructure modernization, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
