About the Job
This position will manage projects across the Technology landscape assigned via Technology Project Management Office (PMO). The Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through the assigned project team members. This role will work within the PMO and closely with business partners and Technology team members to ensure successful delivery to meet the organization's Goals
- Manage all aspects of a project, including timeline, scope and cost.
- Create and manage the project plan, resource plan, stakeholder analysis, issue logs, risk logs, and other relevant documentation to ensure all team members are aligned on deliverables and tasks
- Work closely with 3rd party firms for resources
- Assist in defining the project’s scope, schedule and estimated expenditure, including internal and external resource costs
- Work closely with team members in the business and IT to accomplish tasks
- Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed funding parameters
- Prepare status reports for review and distribution to management and project team
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings and workshops
- Prepare presentations for project meetings and executive meetings
- Bachelor’s degree with focus in Business or Technology (preferred not required)
- PMP Certification and/or related experience utilizing project management tools and best practices
- 5+ years implementing IT projects involving business partners across all departments and operations of an organization
- Experience in Microsoft 365 applications
