BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated IT-Business Analyst for an opportunity in Plano, TX

Position Title: IT-Business Analyst

Location: Plano, TX

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12 Months.

Job Type: CONTRACT, (Hybrid)

Monday- Friday (5x8)

A candidate who is authorized to work independently

Pay Range: $45- $50/hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

ROLE SUMMARY

7 - 10 years. Provides technical & business systems and software support for modification, implementation, or conversion of business systems. Translates business needs into technical requirements and ensures all systems support and conform to business needs and specifications. Acts as liaison between business unit and software/hardware developers and vendors. Aware of business or function for which application or system is designed. Has the required domain knowledge, as applicable or brings other domain knowledge that improves the overall function of the business to team interface. Constantly looks for ways to improve the interaction with the business and the quality and speed of the requirements gathering and requirements build

Payments System BA- QA reviewer will perform quality reviews of payment applications monthly. The quality reviews are essential to ensuring controls for our payment systems are in place and being executed. In this role, the QA reviewer needs to be intellectual curious in reviewing information and be able to communicate findings with confidence.

Required (hard) skills/experience

* 2-4+ years of risk, controls or quality assurance experience

* Demonstrated subject matter knowledge in technology and/or information security processes is preferred (access, segregation of duties, resiliency planning, code scanning, etc.)

* Ability to integrate and analyze data from multiple sources, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations

* Proven time management and organizational skills

* Demonstrates accountability and ownership

* Strong collaboration and partnering skills with ability to positively influence and motivate others, enjoys working in a team environment

* MS Office Proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

* Demonstrated understanding of the importance of business ethics

Desired skills/experience

* Technical knowledge of systems and related infrastructure/architecture

* Prior business process management or control framework knowledge

* Ability to understand systematic evidence as it relates to IT processes

* QA / Testing experience

* Bachelor's degree

* Experience with Enterprise Change Framework processes and deliverables
