IT Asset Management Specialist at Mastech Digital

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking an IT AssetManagement Specialist for our client in the Engineering domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Role Description: As an IT Asset Management Specialist, you must have at least 6+ years of experience. 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years related experience or equivalent combination.

- Understanding software usage rights, and contractual terms and conditions.

- Knowledge of IT asset management best practices, including license remediation, reconciliation, and harvesting.

- Knowledgeable in ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Costpoint.

- Experience with ServiceNow catalogue development and ServiceNow SAMPro software license entitlements management.

- Proficient with process development and improvement.

- Excellent communication skills and working with teams across an organization.

- Knowledge on the technical aspects of IT SW contract models, including hosting, subscription, SaaS, concurrent licensing, and enterprise agreements, etc.

- Possess an understanding of the relationship between contracts, IT assets and the Configuration Management Database.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent 

Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
