Overview: The W-TRS Focus Center IT Admin will work at the Focus Centers assisting with end user support, IT administration, MAXIMO support and assist in the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the network and its systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of system administration (Linux and Windows), experience with Windows domain services, imaging, virtualization, system security processes (i.e. STIGs/general hardening) and end point device management. The candidate should easily work with a team and have above average soft skills that allows them to interface with users. Acts as MAXIMO level 2 administrator supporting the users for WTRS. Performs tasks such as creating person and labor records, troubleshooting user issues, elevating issues to level 3 MAXIMO administrators when necessary. Provides training and supports end-users to ensure they understand how to use InSITE effectively. Create work orders for calls from remote users and customers that report device issues in the field. Job Description: + Lead the administration and optimization of the Maximo application, including system configurations, customizations, and enhancements + Coordinate deployment and maintenance schedules, upgrades, and patches of the system to ensure scalability, stability, and security while minimizing down time. + Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site, as necessary. + Work closely with team members to capture and define system requirements, develop solutions, and align system capabilities with organizational objectives + Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex system, performance, and/or integration issues + Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate, plan, and implement system improvements and new functionalities + Stay abreast of emerging Maximo industry trends, technologies, and standard methodologies to drive innovation and efficiency Required Skills: + Minimum of 5+ years of progressive technical (hands-on) experience in Windows administration. + Proficiency in IBM Maximo, IBM Websphere, IBM HTTP Servers (IHS), MS Internet Information Services (IIS), and MS SQL Server systems administration + Proficiency in implementing and managing SSL + Proficiency with patching, updating and configuring Windows systems. + Proficient in File Share configuration and mount points. + High degree of comfort working at Linux command line + Can manage Windows domain services (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, etc.) + Experience with networking (switch management and configuration, managing and setting up VLANs, subnetting, etc.) + Experience with device imaging (Linux & Windows) + Familiar with reverse proxies, and RD and SSH Gateways + Experience with configuring and managing storage solutions. (SANs & NASs, Fiber channel, switches) + Proficient configuring and managing virtual environments. + Understanding and proficiency in implementing and maintaining system security.
