Hydraulic Crane / Rotating Telehandler Operator at Kiewit

Kiewit is looking for Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the FERMI located in Lead, South Dakota.

Requirements

• Must have experience as a Crane Operator / Telehandler Operator in an industrial setting.
• Must have experience operating a rotating cab Telehandler with a mounted winch.
• Valid NCCCO TLL Certs.
• Valid Medical Card.

Shift Information

• Current schedule is6:30am to 4:30pm, Monday – Friday.
• Must be willing to work additional overtime, weekends and nights when required.

Additional Information

• $40 per hour
• Per Diem: $67.50 Days Worked
• All offers are contingent on your ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test.

Project Information

Heavy Civil Work - building overland conveyor & Rehabilitation of old mine. FERMI LBNF (Long-Baseline Neutrino Facility) is a particle physics and accelerator laboratory in Lead, SD. For this project, Kiewit's work is heavy civil and involves pre-excavation work, requiring the re-opening, rehabilitating and reinforcement of an existing gold mine. They're also building an overland conveyor. Next phase will involve mass excavation efforts for the new laboratory at the 4850 foot level (below the surface of the earth). Once this work is done, the new FERMI LBNF laboratory will be built.
