This Contract role as a Remote Graphic Designer will create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical graphic designer needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, analyze and create visual solutions to communication problems.
- Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design.
- Prepare sketches or layouts to present to client.
- Create charts and graphs from data given.
Requirements:
- MUST have experience working with healthcare companies/businesses
- Social savvy – aware of trends, content styles, platform behaviors and tuned-in to pop culture relevancy.
- Bachelor's degree in design or related field or equivalent training required. 3-5+ years’ experience required.
- Expert ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design. Ability to be flexible to business demands, work well under pressure and multi-task.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Attune to social media trends (both visual and copy-based) and literate in social platform best practices in terms of specs and formatting – especially for Instagram and TikTok.
- Strong creative eye for clear and visually interesting carousel formats on Instagram and TikTok as this is a content format we use often (Example PP)
- Previous major brand experience for social (due to understanding nuances of red tape, fielding feedback, adaptable)
- Willingness to proactively contribute to team needs without always having a defined “ask” (i.e. creative problem solving and ability to apply/balance feedback.)
- Speed of content creation and meeting timelines provided.
Pay Rate: $42 / hour
