Total Rewards (HR) Analyst

Location: San Jose, CA 95134 (Hybrid, onsite parking available)

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract (with potential for Temp-to-Hire)

Pay Rate: $35-38/hour

Position Summary:

LHH partnered with a local company to seek a motivated Total Rewards (HR) Analyst to join our People Team on a 6-month contract. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our Benefits Lead and Senior Administrator to manage and analyze compensation and benefits programs. We’re looking for someone with an HRIS background and advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets to support the integrity of our employee compensation tools, data analysis, and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compensation & Benefits Management: Oversee and track employee compensation details, including new hire compensation, equity, and bonuses.
• Data Integrity Audits: Run reports from Workday, audit data against offer letters, and maintain accuracy.
• Workday Setup & Administration: Assist with setting up Workday’s advanced compensation module and participate in the annual compensation cycle preparation.
• Analysis & Reporting: Conduct basic data analysis, prepare summaries, and create Excel/Google Sheets tools for scalable data tracking.
• Compliance & Reconciliation: Perform regular audits of 401(k), ESPP, and bonus target data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Process Documentation: Draft and update process flow documents, manage survey participation, and create templates for compensation-related tasks.
• Updating and auditing compensation tools
• Conducting bi-weekly data audits and creating scalable templates
• Preparing summaries and observations from data analyses
• Reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy in employee benefits and compensation records

Required Skills & Experience:

• Education & Experience: 2-3 years in a similar role, ideally within HRIS, Total Rewards, or HR operations
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and familiarity with Workday and Slack
• Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct data analysis, summarize findings, and provide recommendations
• Communication Skills: Clear business communication skills and an understanding of project management basics
