We are currently seeking candidates for a Human Resources Manager at a real estate development co. located in Providence, RI, 02907.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of human resources management experience managing day-to-day operations including onboarding and offboarding, labor and employee relations, performance management and compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
This is a temporary role (est. 3-4 months) with an opportunity to become permanent and will pay up to $50.00 per hour (based on relative work experience) within a 40-hour work week.
On-site 5 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Generalist
- Maintain and update employee records
- Driving the culture of the company through employee engagement
- Recruiting
- Manage the full onboarding process, including conducting orientation and preparing necessary documentation.
- Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, including exit interviews, benefits transitions, and documentation
- Address and resolve employee grievances and disputes in compliance with company policies and labor laws
- Manage all aspects of employee terminations, including documentation, compliance with labor laws, and conducting exit interviews
- Ensure HR practices comply with state and federal regulations, particularly in employment law, benefits, and safety regulations
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external requirements
- Develop and implement employee engagement programs to enhance company culture
- Provide support and guidance to managers and employees regarding HR-related matters
- Coordinate and manage the open enrollment process with the benefit broker
- Provide assistance to employees with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management
REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree

PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred, but not required

5+ years of human resources management experience

Proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Exhibit high degree of initiative in managing multiple priorities simultaneously

Ability to work with frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workflow
