About the Job
Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Manager acts as a consultant for leaders on building a culture of equity, inclusion and belonging while serving as a resource for employees on all issues related to human resources. This includes, but is not limited to, monitoring leaders’ coaching competencies and providing guidance to create a high performance culture; serving as a resource in conflict resolution and employee relations; coordinating and/or conducting leadership training on applicable federal and state employment laws and organizational policies; and driving systemic change in processes and efficiencies, organizational structure, FTE management and job evaluations.
Key Accountabilities:
- Apply knowledge of external trends and issues in healthcare to diagnose and drive systemic change in processes and efficiencies, organizational structure, FTE management and job evaluations. Utilize people management data and analytical tools to translate current and future business needs aligned to the strategic business plan.
- Partner with patient experience to co-facilitate Phase 2 onboarding. Lead human resource competency preparation for government and accreditation surveys/investigations. Communicate the business value of HR initiatives, managing HR program roll out to minimize business disruption.
- Promote management practices that create equity, inclusion and belonging, engagement, team effectiveness and a high performance culture. Monitor leaders’ coaching competencies and provide guidance to create a positive coaching environment to drive change within assigned client group.
- Perform employee rounding to gather customer voice to strengthen relationships between leadership and staff, and improve communication. Serve as a resource in conflict resolution and employee relations while conducting timely fact-finding investigations and ensuring complete and accurate documentation. Apply Just Culture philosophy in determining course of action for issue resolution; coordinating and/or conducting leadership training on applicable federal and state employment laws and organizational policies.
Required:
- Three years in Human Resources which includes one year as a HR Generalist
- Bachelor Degree
Desired:
- One year in a healthcare setting
- Master Degree
- Professional in Human Resources
- Senior Professional in Human Resources
