Position Summary
The Senior Human Resources Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS). This includes creating professional, high-quality and educational training materials, and supporting the development of team members through innovative and impactful learning solutions. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on content creator, proficient in using e-learning creation tools such as Articulate 360, Lectora, Canva or similar software programs.

POSITION EXPECTATION
Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of the LMS, including but not limited to user accounts, course assignments, communications, access permissions and system configurations.
- Designs, develops and delivers engaging, professional and educational e-learning courses, tailored to the needs of the business.
- Writes and edits course content, including scripts, instructional text, and assessment materials.
- Creates interactive and visually appealing online presentations, videos, and simulations using e-learning content creation tools.
- Incorporates adult learning principles and instructional design best practices into all training materials.
- Collaborates with leadership and departmental managers to identify training needs and skill gaps.
- Develops and implements a strategic training roadmap to address current and future organizational needs.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. Assists in the identification of policy needs, and creates or revises policies as necessary.
- Manages the Corporate Team Member of the Quarter program, which includes the nomination and voting process, ordering of awards, coordination of the associated lunch event, and the sending of all related calendar invites and communications.
- Handles any requests to the Human Resources department related to the CARF accreditation process.
- Creates professional presentations in PowerPoint to report on Human Resources analytics for delivery to Executive Leadership.
- Maintains confidentiality while exemplifying integrity, ingenuity, and exceptional work ethic.
- Assists with departmental projects or initiatives as they arise.

Education, Experience, and Requirements
Required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in training or learning and development roles within the Human Resources function.
- Proven experience managing an LMS and developing e-learning content.
- Must have strong skills with e-learning development tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar software programs.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including a minimum of an intermediate skill level with PowerPoint and Excel specifically.
- Thorough understanding of employment laws. Proven ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Proven experience in exercising effective independent judgement and independent work completion with minimal supervision.
- Excellent project and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field preferred, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Environmental Factors
- Majority of duties performed in an office environment with regulated temperatures. Other duties may be performed outside the office environment where no cooling or heating will be available. Exposure to extreme heat, cold, dust and humidity may be a possibility.
Physical Factors
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 25 pounds.
Must be able tolerate prolonged standing, walking, reaching, stooping, lifting, pulling, carrying, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer.
