We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Human Resources Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of HR functions, including but not limited to, performance management, employee relations, benefits administration, HR policy development, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization by aligning HR processes and initiatives with our overall business strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the HR Director to design, recommend, and implement HR processes, strategies, and initiatives that align with and support the overall business
strategy
- Serve as the main point of contact for employees, addressing their concerns and resolving conflicts to ensure a positive work environment
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees requesting Leaves of Absence, guiding them through the application process and providing necessary information
- Maintain confidential and accurate records for Leaves of Absence (LOAs) in compliance with privacy laws
- Conduct investigations and collaborate with leadership to address and resolve employee concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS (Paylocity)
- Execute the end-to-end process of employee terminations, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws
- Conduct exit interviews and gather valuable feedback to enhance organizational practices
- Implement performance management systems, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback and coaching to employees
- Identify training needs, develop and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and career development
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
- Organize and manage the annual open enrollment process
- Manage compensation structures and ensure competitive and fair compensation practices
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Oversee HR administrative functions, including maintaining employee records, HR databases, and generating reports
- Foster a culture of engagement, organize team-building activities, and promote a positive work environment
- Act as the secondary contact for the recruitment and onboarding process of new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization
- Manage the HR budget, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation
- Generate HR metrics and analytics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to support organizational goals and objectives
- Stay informed about employment laws and regulations, ensuring the company's compliance
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements
- Act as a secondary payroll processor as needed
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Proven experience in designing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in HRIS (Paylocity) and other HR software
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
