Candidates should have either a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, a related field, or comparable work experience. You will be expected to work directly with all levels of employees and management with a concentration on employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, and organizational development. Additionally, you will work in an atmosphere that allows you to incorporate your personal and professional style and encourages sharing successful practices to accomplish our common mission. Day in the Life: * Experience with performing day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties (including maintenance of I-9 documentation, benefits administration, maintenance of employee records and employee performance process within the HRIS
* Able to serve as a resource to managers and employees in the organization
* Able to perform general administrative functions, including responding to employee inquiries and providing information for personnel actions, preparing correspondence, forms, reports, tracking deadlines and providing support to the HR Manager and Leadership team
* Possesses excellent organization skills; is a multi-tasker; is professional and courteous, and dedicated to providing excellent support and extraordinary customer service
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs specifically, Word, Excel and Power Point
* Action and detail-oriented
* Demonstrates excellent written and oral skills
* Demonstrates ability to exercise good judgment, extreme discretion and maintain confidentiality of information
* Works well in a team environment as well as independently
* Flexibility in work hours may be required during specific tasks Education Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent work experience
* Basic knowledge of the law Nice to Have: * Experience with Paycom (HRIS)
* SHRM or HRCI Certification
* Microsoft Certification
