About the Job
This role is contract position lasting about 9 months to support our onsite team with the day to day Human Resources functions while our team goes through Workday Implementation.
Summary: Administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
* Develops policies and procedures for and supports the Foreign National employees as a business partner.
* Maintains records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting and Affirmative Action Plans.
* Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
* Researches training programs, as requested by managers or as required for Corporate-wide training.
* Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
* Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
* Administers performance review program for the groups/departments to which incumbent is assigned, to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
* Administers salary administration program for the groups/departments to which the incumbent is assigned, to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
* Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews for the groups/departments to which the incumbent is assigned, to determine reasons behind separations.
Qualifications:
* 4-year degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations
* 3 years of related experience required
* Union or Labor Relations experience preferred
