Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating new hire onboarding.
- Facilitate orientation programs and ensure timely and accurate completion of all new hire paperwork.
- Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs.
- Assist in addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Support managers in performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and necessary documentation.
- Coordinate and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k) plans, and other benefits.
- Act as the liaison between employees and benefits providers, resolving issues and providing support during open enrollment.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure payroll data accuracy before file transmission.
- Verify accurate reporting of holidays, vacation, bonuses, new hires, and terminated employee hours.
- Leverage knowledge of tax filing processes and multi-location operations to support HR functions.
- Stay informed on federal and state employment regulations, ensuring compliance across HR practices.
- Assist the HR Director in ensuring the organization adheres to all federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records in line with internal policies and legal requirements.
- Manage and update employee data within the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Generate and analyze HR-related reports
- Complete government-mandated reports
- Support the HR team in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure employees understand and adhere to company policies, promoting compliance throughout the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field is required
- SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred
- 3+ years of HR Generalist experience is mandatory
- ATS and HRIS knowledge; Paycom strongly preferred
- Knowledge of HR practices and benefits administration
- Willingness to engage with people at all levels of the company and learn the business
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
