The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions, including benefits administration, leave of absence management, onboarding, training, and talent acquisition. If you have a passion for people, a commitment to service, and a deep understanding of HR best practices, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and other plans, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage leave of absence requests, providing guidance and support to employees and managers, and coordinating with payroll to ensure accurate compensation.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and positive experience that sets the stage for successful employment.
- Develop, implement, and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills, performance, and satisfaction.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection, to attract and retain top talent.
- Utilize Paycom or similar HRIS to manage employee data, generate reports, and streamline HR processes.
- Collaborate with HR leadership and other departments to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with company goals.
- Stay current on changes in HR and employment law, and ensure company policies and practices comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Handle employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers, and working to resolve issues in a fair and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources generalist role, preferably in the energy industry.
- Proficiency with Paycom or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of HR functions and best practices, including benefits administration, leave of absence management, onboarding, training, and talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of HR and employment laws and regulations.
- Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
