Position Summary:
Potawatomi Training, LLC (a federal government contractor) is seeking a qualified Human Resources Coordinator who is responsible for overseeing daily staffing operations and offering assistance to staff and management in the performance of their duties as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Initiate and complete on-boarding processes for new employees
• Conduct all phases of hiring actions to include preparation of position vacancy announcements, screening and identifying qualified candidates, scheduling, and participating in interviews, advising management on best qualified candidates, preparing orientation information, and conducting all phases of in-processing an employee.
• Conduct training and orientation programs on benefits, performance and conduct requirements to include ethics and corporate compliance.
• Respond and interact daily to employee and management inquiries and eligibility matters related to benefit programs
• Research and provide clarification or resolution to employee and management inquiries regarding payroll and compensation.
• Coordinate and ensure employee performance evaluations are conducted in a timely manner.
• Maintain and prepare Employee Recognition Program documentation.
• Maintain and submit statistical information for Monthly Personnel Reports and Race & National Origin Reports
• Maintain Employee Information databases and distribute up to date information when needed/requested.
• Maintain personnel information in a variety of formats.
• Guide and investigate Employee Relation/Discipline issues.
• Participate in weekly manager calls with all managers with the contract.
• Coordinate Employee Evaluation Procedures and submit required documentation to corporate(s)
• Assist in planning Employee Appreciation Events to include picnic, Christmas party, on-site events.
• Out-process employees leaving our contract.
• Maintain PM annual non-billable budget.
• Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• High school graduate or GED equivalent required; undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration preferred.
• Must possess and exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience in employment process
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Solid problem solving and business acumen skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs
• Must work flexible hours during the week and occasional weekends.
