We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner for a permanent position in the Manufacturing industry. This role is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant team and make a significant impact. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned HR professional who is well-versed in all aspects of human resources, with a specific focus on talent acquisition, onboarding, policy development, and managing HRIS. The HR Business Partner will work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention, and drive the achievement of organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership on various HR matters including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and legal compliance.
- Manage the full recruitment and onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with current laws and regulations and align with company objectives.
- Leverage HRIS systems (UKG, ADP, Ultipro) to optimize HR operations and generate insightful reports.
- Administer employee benefits programs such as 401K, health insurance, and FMLA.
- Manage complex employee relations issues including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Oversee payroll-related matters including garnishments and deductions.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure all HR processes are compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and support to HR staff and other departments as needed.
- Collaborate with management to identify workforce needs and develop strategic talent acquisition plans.
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- SHRM certification is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in HRIS (UKG, ADP, Ultipro).
- Solid experience with talent acquisition, onboarding, policy development, and managing HRIS.
- Knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and industry regulations.
- Experience with 401K administration, FMLA regulations, and payroll garnishments.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
