Position Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner I (HRBP I) is an entry-level HR professional role responsible for supporting HR operations and serving as a tactical resource to managers and employees. This role focuses on executing HR initiatives, managing employee requests, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
The HRBP I will assist in onboarding, employee relations, performance processes, compliance tasks, managing the incoming ticket system for employee requests, and overseeing state compliance, filings, and correspondence. This role contributes to Truly Free, INC’s mission of building a people-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Support
- Serve as a primary contact for employees regarding HR-related questions and concerns.
- Provide guidance on company policies, benefits, and HR processes.
- Manage the incoming ticket system for employee requests, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation of inquiries and responses.
Onboarding and Recruitment Support
- Assist with onboarding activities, including new hire orientation and ensuring required documentation is complete.
- Coordinate with the talent acquisition team to facilitate a smooth candidate-to-employee transition.
- Provide administrative support during recruitment processes as needed.
Compliance and State Filings
- Oversee state compliance requirements, including timely and accurate filings and correspondence.
- Maintain documentation and records to meet compliance standards and prepare for audits or reviews.
- Serve as the point of contact for state agencies and ensure alignment with regulatory changes.
Performance Management Support
- Facilitate scheduling and documentation for performance reviews and feedback sessions.
- Provide managers with templates and tools for conducting performance discussions.
- Assist in tracking performance improvement plans and follow-up actions.
HR Operations
- Assist in implementing HR initiatives, including employee engagement surveys and training programs.
- Maintain Human Resource Information System (HRIS) data accuracy and generate basic reports as needed.
- Support HR team projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution of tasks.
- Performs Jobs/duties as assigned by Chief People Officer
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and/or related experience or combination of both.
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR support or generalist role preferred.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus but not required.

Work Environment
The HRBP I position is a hybrid role, requiring time both on-site at the Rockledge, Florida, office and remotely. Occasional travel may be required to support company events or training programs.
