Pay Rate: $22/hr, FT through June 2025

General Description
The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative support functions for the Human Resources department requiring professional communication, high level of accuracy, quality, good judgement and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have a sense of urgency, strong customer service skills, and respond to routine matters in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Maintain HRIS and Team Member Documents: Maintains HRM/HRIS systems and responsible for data entry as needed including: new hires, team member changes, performance documents, compliance documents, terminations, and other related team member information and documents accurately and in aconfidential,organized,andlegallycompliantmanner. Partners with the Contract and Program teams to ensure compliance and prepares documents for auditors. Create and maintain team member electronic files in an accurate and timely manner.
General Admin Support: Prepares department expense reports and vendor payments. Provides administrative support in areas including Training (training schedules, invites, completion, recording certifications, potential maintenance of LMS), onboarding, off boarding, and performance management.
New Hire Support:Completes employmentverifications,backgroundchecks,E-Verify,CentralRegistry,MVR,and filing/maintenance of this information. Orders nametags and creates name plates for team members.
Reporting: Effectively utilize the HRIS and Excel to develop, prepare, generate, prepare and retain recurring and ad-hoc reports pertaining to team member information and data, such as birthdays & anniversaries, performance review status, staffing levels, turnover, recruitment, etc.
Qualification Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, two years administrative support experience, preferably in Human Resources; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of Arizona and Federal employment laws and regulations helpful
- Clear a criminal background
- Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Card (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Good time management ability and ability to work independently
- Proficient with office equipment and computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office products, HRIS and TA systems
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish both written and verbal is strongly preferred
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. The Team Member frequently is required to use hands to hold objects and operate office equipment
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work within the mission of LSS-SW
