About the Job
Our client is seeking an organized and proactive HR Administrative Assistant with 1-2 years of experience to join their Human Resources team! This onsite position is a great opportunity to contribute to key HR operations while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Interim HR Manager, you will play an essential role in maintaining efficient HR processes and supporting employees.
Responsibilities:
Employee Interaction:
- Serve as a welcoming point of contact for employees in the HR office.
- Address general HR inquiries and provide day-to-day assistance.
Data Management:
- Manage and maintain accurate personnel records and HR files.
- Handle a high volume of HR data entry and generate routine reports.
Document Administration:
- Ensure all HR documents, policies, and training records are up-to-date and compliant.
- Process training documents from supervisors and ensure proper system updates.
Payroll and Benefits:
- Assist in payroll and benefits administration using Dayforce or similar systems.
Onboarding & Orientation:
- Organize and facilitate new hire orientations.
- Prepare welcome materials and ensure smooth onboarding experiences.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-2 years in an HR or administrative role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or HR certification preferred.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (preferably Dayforce) and Microsoft Office.
