About the Job
HireLevel is seeking a Human Resources Manager in Orestes, Indiana. The HR Manager will be responsible for the overall Human Resources function within the plant including, employee relations, performance management, recruiting and onboarding, and ensuring compliance with all Local, State, and Federal regulations and laws. This person will report to the Senior Manager of Employee Relations and Plant Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the training and education initiatives for the plant
- Manage the recruiting and interviewing efforts for the plant including onboarding
- Manage the investigations of all employee relations issues
- Assists management in union avoidance activities Performance and Talent Management
- Administer the performance review and employee development program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within organization
- Ensure all policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance with federal and state regulations HR Services
- Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and prerequisite program requirements
- Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues to management
Job Requirements:
- 4 year degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- HRCI or SHRM certification
- Leadership Training or Safety Training valuable
- 5-7 years prior Human Resources experience with progressive responsibilities
- 5 years management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to exercise sound judgment when making decisions
- Ability to operate comfortably and effectively at all levels within the company
- Work well under pressure
- Ability to take initiative and be flexible
