As a Housekeeper with the Fairview Campus at Wellspring, you’ll be part of a team of nurses, CNAs and senior support staff committed to helping seniors and families in Fairview. In this position, you'll be directly supporting your community in Oscoda County to provide services to seniors. In this position, a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred and prior housekeeping experience is helpful, but not essential.

As a Housekeeper, you will:

• Follow cleaning schedule abiding by Standard Precautions, hazardous waste handling and cleaning agent use policies and procedures

• *Clean assigned areas, toilets, sinks, mirrors, trash can, furnishings, and fixtures including furniture, floors, walls, sills, closets, and doors according to established housekeeping procedures

• *Empty wastebaskets from both bathrooms and resident rooms, and common places as directed; replacing with clean plastic bag and one extra bag at the bottom of the wastebasket

• Clean general common areas, dining, office, and employee areas according to assignment schedule

• Assist with laundry duties as necessary

* Indicates that this task is considered high risk for exposure to bio-hazardous materials. Standard Precautions must be followed in all job duties.
