YOUR MISSION (The Job Description)
Experienced, high-energy administrative Assistant/Coordinator. Knowledge of Delphi/FDC Sales System preferred. Enhance Sales effectiveness by providing administrative support to Group Sales Managers.
THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties)

Primary responsibility is to enhance Sales Managers effectiveness by:
* Providing excellent customer service to hotel group customers
* Provide administrative support to group sellers including, but not limited to:
* Administrative support including but not limited to customer correspondence, travel planning, appointment scheduling, expense account management, and other administrative support of Hotel Sales Managers
* Delphi Sales Information Management in conjunction with group selling efforts such as call reporting, tracing, proposal preparation, contract creation, sales file management and file turnovers to event and service teams.
* Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
* Prepares reports required by Executive Dir of Sales
* Weekly and monthly reporting on group revenue and sales, including all preparation of end of month reporting
* Complete guest room reservations for sales customers, reservations, coordinate limo transportation, prepare attraction tickets and coordinate amenities
* Perform essential administrative functions including, but not limited to fielding telephone calls, filing, organizing workload, scanning, faxing, photocopying, and typing emails
* Perform other duties as requested by the managers of the department
* Maintain consistent adherence to The Virgin Hotel Las Vegas/Hilton Hotels Guest Service Standards
WHAT IT TAKES (The Qualities We Look For)
* Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Previous hotel experience a plus
MUST HAVE'S
* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to communicate effectively in a positive and professional manner in English, both in spoken and written form
* Excellent communication skills, customer service and team oriented, self-starter, and professional maturity
* Must have a friendly and outgoing personality; be open to collaboration with others on the team. Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills and exhibit composure and professionalism while under pressure
* Knowledge of events/convention services preferred, but not required
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to company appearance standards
* Maintain consistent adherence to The Virgin Hotel Las Vegas/Hilton Hotels Guest Service Standards
WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE'S
* College degree a plus
* Knowledge of Delphi/FDC Sales System
THE WORKING CONDITIONS
* Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling without restriction
* Must be able to frequently move freely about the office; and maintain manual dexterity to access computer via computer keyboard and operate office equipment, such as telephones, copiers, fax machine, etc.
* Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to LCD/CRT fatigue, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke
* Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 20 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks assigned
* Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and interface with hotel guests in a congenial and polite manner
* Work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and ever-changing environment
* Able to maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts
* Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside
