Scope of Position:
The Hospitality Server is responsible for providing the highest quality of food & beverage service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. To provide service to guests by receiving and delivering guests orders and collecting payment for such items
Position Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepares breakfast and sets up breakfast service in assigned area according to hotel or brand
standard. - Keeps breakfast items filled and the breakfast area cleaned during the breakfast service times.
- Break down and put away breakfast items according to brand specifications and clean breakfast
area. Reports needed repairs to equipment and unsafe conditions to supervisor. - Responds to requests from guests, supervisors or management in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintains supplies in a neat and organized to department standards.
- Maintains keys and supplies issued each day.
- Reports any guest issues to supervisor.
- Follows procedures food safety.
- Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest
satisfaction. - Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
- Follows company policies and procedures.
Note: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED certification
- Experience in a hotel or a similar industry, preferably in Food & Beverage.
- Must be minimum legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state government agency.
Physical Demands:
· Long hours sometimes required, including nights and weekends.
· Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
· Ability to be on your feet throughout the entire shift, sometimes for entire shift.
