Position Overview
The Estimator will play a crucial role in our projects by providing accurate cost estimates for commercial and hospitality constructions. This position involves analyzing project specifications, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with project managers to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and overhead
- Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to align on project budgets
- Monitor project costs and assist in financial forecasting
- Maintain a database of costs and market trends for future reference
- Provide support during the bidding process and negotiate contracts as necessary
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial or hospitality sectors
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
