Fox Hospital.This Nocturnist Hospitalist position is located at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta, NY. The community hospital is licensed for 53 med/surg beds. Subspecialty services are available in Cardiology, General Surgery, Infectious disease, Pulmonary, Orthopedics and a burgeoning telemedicine service including Psychiatry, Palliative Care, and Neurology. Bassett is an EPIC EMR Network.ResponsibilitiesBlock Schedule, typically 7 days on and 7 days offHours are 8:00 PM 8:00 AMResponsible for admitting patients from the ED and nearby hospitals, fielding transfer calls, and cross covering inpatientsAttend codes and rapid responses with the direct assistance of an in-house (24/7) board-certified Emergency Medicine physicianTelephone back-up from hospitalist physiciansProcedural skills preferred but not requiredFully Integrated EPIC electronic medical record throughout the networkMust be motivated to tackle challenges and be able to work independentlyBuild relationships with other practitioners at A.O. Fox Hospital and within Bassett Healthcare NetworkSalary Range: $130,000 - $145,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcares good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement.
