Overview
Optage, a division of Presbyterian Homes and Services, is seeking a medical administrative professional to join its Home-office team as the Optage Services Coordinator to support Optage Hospice frontline workers with the coordination of care services, medical records and office support.

Responsibilities
The Optage Services Coordinator provides support for our team of nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other front-line workers by completing administrative tasks in support of the clinicians and other field staff. This key support role is located at our Optage Home-office. This position would include obtaining medical records for review, scheduling of clinicians, electronically filing and follow up for necessary paperwork. The Optage Services Coordinator would also include communication with clinics, hospitals, families, and our PHS sites & partners, providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a health care environment or related field such as customer service preferred.
- Experience with the older adult or with engagement of multiple generations preferred.
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated knowledge of computer software applications, such as desktop publishing, project management, spreadsheets, and database management.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple task/projects and deadlines simultaneously and to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data, and strong attention to detail; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public.
- Must be a team player, willing to take directions and accept responsibility for meeting specified objectives.
- Must understand the principles of administrative work and clerical functions.
- Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
