Homecare Assistant - Loving Embrace Home Care

A personal care assistant, also known as a caregiver or personal care aide, provides support and assistance to individuals who are unable to care for themselves fully. The job description typically includes the following responsibilities:

Assistance with Daily Tasks:

• Helping with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Mobility Assistance: Assisting with mobility aids like wheelchairs or walkers and helping the individual move around safely.
• Medication Management: Ensuring that the individual takes their medication as prescribed.
• Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to any dietary restrictions.
• Light Housekeeping: Performing light cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
• Companionship: Providing emotional support and companionship to the individual.
• Transportation: Assisting with transportation to appointments, errands, or social outings.
• Monitoring Health: Keeping track of the individual's health and reporting any changes or concerns to medical professionals or family members.
• Respect for Privacy: Maintaining the individual's dignity and privacy at all times.
• Flexibility: Being able to adapt to the changing needs and preferences of the individual.

Additionally, a personal care assistant should have good communication skills, patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others. They should also be physically fit and able to lift or move the individual if necessary.

Salary--$16 per hour.

Home care experience preferred.  Need CPR, T-B test, Physical, CPA certificate. 

Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
