Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Marketplace team that focuses on the public-facing aspects of the Affordable Care Act. The ideal candidate must thrive in a dynamic, demanding, and fast-paced environment and perform essential Business Analyst functions. This includes coordinating and communicating with various stakeholder teams to deliver core policy and technology capabilities. This role demands strong consulting skills to effectively collaborate with Business Owners, IT Project Managers, Application Development Organizations (ADOs), and other systems entities to ensure high-quality application enhancements and product delivery.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven experience working independently, collaboratively, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Ability to identify, communicate, and achieve consensus with stakeholders regarding approaches to manage risks, issues, and outstanding questions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate, and execute project plans that address client demands while managing deadlines, risks, issues, and the development of end products simultaneously.
- Strong capability to coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to develop, expand, and strengthen these relationships.
- Experience in requirements gathering and data analysis to identify potential solutions for issues that require cross-team collaboration.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proven ownership of tasks and a drive to successful completion.
- Experience in identifying, tracking, and resolving business and technical issues, along with coordination of product delivery and development/maintenance releases.
- Capability to identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies that could impact schedules or stakeholder engagements.
- Experience in planning for and supporting key operational and technical processes.
- Ability to assist in the development of content for internal/external briefings, reports, and documentation, as well as maintain a stakeholder matrix.
- Experience delivering final work products to government clients with minimal peer review.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools, including JIRA, Slack, and Confluence.
- Experience/knowledge of Project Management, Agile methodologies, and other technical processes (SDLC/waterfall).
- Knowledge of the federally facilitated health insurance marketplace or health insurance eligibility and enrollment is considered a plus.
Minimum Education:
BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Required Certifications:
None Required. Agile and/or Project Management certifications preferred.
