About the Job
Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for Health Education Specialist to support the Ending of the HIV Epidemic (EHE) project in the Los Angeles County area. The Health Education Specialists Plans, implements, directs, coordinates, and evaluates community health education programs and trainings based on community and provider needs through investigation and evaluation of factors such as available health resources, communication systems, political and socio-cultural influences, and disparities in the social determinants of health.
The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through 10/31/25.
Pay Rate-
$5,900 per month

Shifts: Hybrid - 3 days in office (600 S Commonwealth Ave 10th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90005)
40-hour work week
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in health education or a related field.
OR
Two (2) years of experience in the coordination, planning, or implementation of a health-related program or related field.
Desirable Qualifications:
A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline related to public health education or community health education, or related field.
Experience working in HIV/AIDS and/or sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) public health programs.
Additional experience beyond these requirements.
