The Hilton Austin Airport is seeking a Controller/Director of Finance to join our executive committee and help lead our team into its next great chapter of operation. The Hilton has been recently renovated and is located in the historic Air Force command building right on Austin-Bergstrom International Airport property. We're proud to be Austin's gateway full-service hotel.
The Hotel Controller at the Hilton Austin Airport leads the accounting team in a fully decentralized hotel accounting environment. The position is a hands-on accounting role.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily operations of the Assistant Controller and Accounting Clerk.
- Provide management team with timely and accurate information on which to make decisions.
- Use tools and knowledge to advise General Manager and management on progress to achieving bottom-line objectives.
- Complete month end process resulting in timely and accurate financial statements to share with Ownership, Managers, and Prospera Hospitality.
- Utilize standard accounting controls to maximize profit/minimize loss through retaining revenue, reducing expenses, and guarding hotel assets.
- Professionally represent the Hilton during interactions with Ownership or audit/certification processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely production of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bi-weekly payroll.
- Lead annual budget creation process.
The position is a member of the property Executive Leadership Committee and is eligible to participate in the EC incentive program.
Five years of Hotel Accounting experience required
Previous Hilton experience is a plus

Compensation details: 95000-100000 Yearly Salary
