The Head of Operations is responsible for the oversight and successful running of Tucson Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations.
About the Role:
Provides leadership and management of assigned staff and monitors overall operations (Performance, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Safety) of North America Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations. The position requires a continuous improvement mindset and ensures that processes are applying highest standards in terms of safety and sustainability. Be a role model in driving a strong HSE culture and creating an inclusive and diverse work environment. Drive change and transformation in a highly dynamic market setting. End-to-end responsible for all aspects of Manufacturing (Machining, Painting, Assembly, Polyurethane) and associated Warehouse and Distribution Center. Continues to drive the integration of Tucson operations to be part of the global manufacturing network and collaborates with central functions. Implements, monitors and manages relevant operational metrics, SOPs and policies for efficient operations. Ensures effective use and continuous optimization of ERP and associated operating systems. Assesses, coaches, and develops the site leadership team through proactive performance and succession management and puts particular focus on creating an inclusive and diverse work environment. As part of the Global Manufacturing leadership team, you will engage with peers in other regions to drive a global manufacturing strategy focused on optimizing costs and lead times. Actively involved with stakeholders in the business lines with regards to delivering high quality, cost and leadtime competitive parts and products, strategic planning and developing new offerings to grow business.

Qualifications:
10+ years of Manufacturing operations experience in a global manufacturing setup. Experience in running distribution centers for industrial goods represent a strong plus. Change management and transformational capabilities. Ability to forecast and mitigate disruptions in demand and supply chain. Proven track record in setting up and/or running assembly and manufacturing workshop with a highly diversified portfolio of small to medium sized mechanical assemblies. Effective verbal and written communication skills on a technical level with excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills. Demonstrated leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and customer relations skills. Demonstrated skills and broad understanding in project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
