Hardware Test Engineer - Insight Global

Overview:

A large medical device company is looking for a Test Engineer with 3+ years of experience in testing and validating medical devices. You will work within the New Product Development (NPD) team, focusing on validating PCBA manufacturing processes and ensuring medical devices perform as designed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional testing and validate communication protocols (I2C, USB, TCP/IP).

• Develop and execute testing protocols for medical devices.

• Collaborate with R&D, regulatory, and quality teams.

• Ensure compliance with medical device standards and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.

• 3+years of experience in medical device testing or hardware development.

• Experience with IPC-610, PCBA, and communication protocols.

• Knowledge of medical device classifications (Class I, II, III) preferred.

Team Structure:

Work on individual and collaborative projects within a team of 22, including 11 test engineers.

Compensation

$30/hr to $40/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
