Hardscape Estimator - Construction - Base Salary to 85k/year - Jacksonville, FL

• Our client, a highly reputable name in landscaping and hardscaping, is seeking a Hardscape Estimator to join their expanding team. The Hardscape Estimator will possess a deep understanding of the costs and labor associated with installing features such as fountains, stone walls, arbors, concrete, stamped concrete, retaining walls, and other hardscaping elements.

Responsibilities:

• Review project documents to understand the scope of work.
• Identify materials and subcontractor requirements.
• Maintain cost data and prepare accurate takeoffs.
• Acquire subcontractor proposals and resolve discrepancies.
• Complete estimates on time and present them clearly.
• Develop new clients and seek out new bid opportunities.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of estimating and construction.
• Ability to read and analyze plans, specifications, and related documents.
• Familiar with commercial landscape and irrigation construction.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 65k - 85k/year range
