HYBRID Paralegal/Legal Assistant - Zerega Consulting Services, LLC

Our client, a top national law firm with twenty-three (23) offices around the country, seeks a full-time litigation paralegal/legal assistant for its Chicago office. The legal professional will provide direct support to up to three (3) attorneys. This is a hybrid position at their beautiful office located between the riverwalk and millennium park! The position comes with a great package and a salary to $90K depending on experience level.  

Responsibilities: 

Managing the intake and conflicts check process for new matters

Maintaining case files

E-filing (both state and federal)

Finalizing correspondence

Preparing TOCs/TOAs

Entering billable time while working with billing specialists

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

Three (3) to five (5) solid years of litigation experience (defense, civil, commercial preferred – labor and employment experience a plus!)  

Be highly motivated, dedicated, hard-working, and comfortable working in a team environment. 

Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills - with exceptional knowledge of Excel

Great interpersonal skills (oral and written) 

Knowledge of the firm's document management program, iManage/FileSite, as well as its time and billing system, Aderant, are a plus. 

This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
